For The Need, Gabriel’s House, and The Salvation Army Unite

(CLAIR) – Children are the hope and future of our society, and it is crucial to provide them with the love, care, and support they need to realize their potential. Recognizing this need, representatives from Gabriel’s House and The Salvation Army recently came together at the FTN office to discuss a collaboration for the 2024 Children’s Day celebration, known as “Dia del Nino.” The meeting aimed to explore how these organizations could join forces to impact the lives of children and their communities in positive and constructive ways.

Gabriel’s House, a program of The Kingdom Center, has been making a difference in the lives of homeless families since its establishment in 2010. Initially starting as a shelter, it has evolved into a program that offers comprehensive support to women and children.

The Salvation Army, an international movement with a strong presence in communities worldwide, is guided by principles of faith and driven by a mission to help individuals meet their basic human needs.

“Their commitment to social welfare makes them a valuable partner in any endeavor aimed at serving the community,” said For The Need’s Executive Director, Dorina Timbol.

During the meeting, Timbol emphasized the shared dedication of these organizations to serving the needs of youth. The collaboration for Children’s Day in 2024 symbolizes their joint commitment to creating impactful and memorable experiences for children, while simultaneously addressing their immediate and long-term needs.

The collaboration among For The Need, Gabriel’s House, and The Salvation Army holds great promise. By pooling their resources, expertise, and networks, these organizations aim to create a transformative experience for children, bringing joy, education, and support to their lives.

“Children’s Day is a time to celebrate the innocence, potential, and resilience of our youth,” Timbol said.

“By combining the efforts of Gabriel’s House, The Salvation Army, and For The Need, this special day in 2024 promises to be a meaningful and memorable occasion for children in the community.”

She added, “It is through collaborations like these that we can collectively build a brighter future for our children, one filled with love, care, and opportunities for growth.”
