(CLAIR) – The Simi Sunrise Rotary Club has granted a funds allocation to “For The Need Foundation”. These much-needed funds will be utilized to offer additional resources and support to children and families across Southern California.
Simi Sunrise Rotary, known for its extensive history of community service and philanthropy in the Simi Valley community, selected “For The Need Foundation” for this award from a nomination list that included more than two dozen candidates.
This decision was influenced in part by the organization’s impactful and highly visible programs. The grant will allow the foundation to broaden its services and assist more individuals and families in need.
Dorina Timbol, the Executive Director of For The Need, outlined the organization’s vital role in delivering life skills to families living in shelters. The foundation’s objective is to help these families transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
She thanked the club for the award.
