Presenting Moolahlah Dollars & Dreams by For The Need

For The Need Foundation (FTN) partners with Premier America and WM to host Moolahlah: Dollars and Dreams, which takes place at the Boys & Girls Club of San Fernando Valley.

For The Need aims to teach kids of all age groups skills to grow successful with their money goals. FTN makes it possible for teenagers in the program, ages 14+, to learn tips and tricks for the interview process in their future as well.

Children in the younger age groups will participate in engaging activities to teach the importance of saving money, while the older age groups will learn the logistics behind applying for jobs and the interview process. After lunch, the teenagers end with a presentation from Premier America, teaching how to make resourceful financial decisions.

For The Need hosts events just like this to provide hope and resources to families experiencing homelessness and poverty, as well as many other difficulties year-round. Their main mission is to give these families a way to grow, and bring a new life into fruition. For The Need plans events such as this to help kids eventually break the cycle of homelessness through financial literacy and career preparation lessons.

“For this next event I would like to empower the kids to make decisions on their financial goals that will foster confidence into their wellbeing and future,” shares Taylor Pizinger, FTN’s new Program Coordinator. At the end of the event, all the families are provided bags by Premier America.

This event is graciously sponsored by Premier America and WM, and made possible by the Boys & Girls Club of San Fernando Valley, as well as the volunteers of FTN.
