Hello Friend of For the Need,

This past month was packed with heartwarming activities, incredible community support, and moments that remind us why we do what we do. 

As we spring into April, we’re not slowing down. 

With our Bow & Arrow Program event on the horizon and new opportunities for our kids to grow and learn, we’re all about making lasting memories and impactful changes.

🐉Tattoo Tales, 🐶Pet Party, and ♻️WM Wonders!🍀

Our highlight this March had to be the Lucky’s Tattoo Fundraiser, a creative collaboration with Lucky’s, WM, and FTN. 

AJ, alongside four talented (and extremely generous) tattoo artists, transformed ink into hope, offering ‘get what you get’ tattoos. It was more fun than we could ever imagine, and we are grateful to have raised over $3,000 that will go directly to youth in need. 

Big thanks to everyone who came out and got inked. It was awesome meeting more of our community.🙌

We also had the opportunity to be part of Theresa’s Country Feed & Pet’s anniversary sale celebration in Westlake. They generously donated all proceeds from their raffle tickets to For The Need Foundation. 

We also swung by Waste Management to talk about how their staff can get involved with us. It’s great seeing new faces eager to help out!

We’re truly grateful for this support, which is making significant strides in our fight against youth homelessness. It’s heartwarming to see so many kind-hearted individuals in our community come together to support our cause.

With all this excitement in the air, we also want to take some time to welcome our new volunteers and send a BIG thank you to every one of you who signed up recently. 

Every bit of help, every hour you give, makes a world of difference. Thanks to you, we can reach more children and offer them the support they so desperately need. We’re so grateful for your energy and commitment. 

Welcome aboard! We can’t wait to make great things happen together!

☀️Sunshine, 📋Sign-Ups, and ⛺️Summer Camp!

As the days stretch longer and the sun grows warmer, our excitement for the upcoming Bow & Arrow Program event is through the roof. At For The Need, we’re keen on nurturing lasting connections, and we can’t wait to see many familiar faces return for another round of fun and mentorship.

This time around, we’re also thrilled to offer sign-ups for summer camps that promise an unforgettable experience for the kids:

• Youth Camp and Teen Camp with the LAICC, offering a Christian experience for those who seek it.

• Camp Bob Waldorf, for a welcoming, non-religious adventure.

We’re committed to covering all costs for the kids, ensuring they have a summer filled with joy, growth, and adventure. Let’s make this summer one for the books!
