Volunteer Welcome & Training Day
In January, FTN is hosting two training days: (1) at Simi Church of Christ for our 805 location and (2) at LAPD Devonshire PALs in Northridge for our 818 location. It is best for you to attend the training in the city in which you desire to volunteer. Lunch and snacks, some prize opportunities, and Live Scan will be provided.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat and lifeblood of what we do at For the Need, and the people who make what we do possible.
Never underestimate the impact and the power of your presence and your listening ear regardless of your experience or skills.
We welcome anyone above the age of 13 with the time and the heart to serve to apply to join our volunteer team. After you apply, you will receive all the background checks, training, and onboarding necessary to join our team of volunteers.

To volunteer with For the Need:
- Apply to volunteer through the "Apply to Volunteer" button below or contact us if you would like to host a special field-trip like event or toy drive.
- Keep an eye on your inbox for additional requirements depending on the roles you selected.
- Attend and participate in as many of our bimonthly events as you can, which are located in Simi Valley, CA and Los Angeles, CA.
