Our volunteers are the heartbeat and lifeblood of what we do at For the Need, and the people who make what we do possible.
We provide the events and facilitate the opportunities for you to connect with children in need. Never underestimate the impact and the power of your presence and your listening ear regardless of your experience or skills.
We welcome anyone above the age of 13 with the time and the heart to serve to apply to join our volunteer team. After you apply, you will receive all the background checks, training, and onboarding necessary to join our team of volunteers.

To volunteer with For the Need:
- Apply to volunteer through the "Apply to Volunteer" button below or contact us if you would like to host a special field-trip like event.
- Keep an eye on your inbox for additional requirements depending on the roles you selected.
- Attend and participate in as many of our bimonthly events as you can, which are located primarily in Simi Valley, CA.
