Since 2004, For The Need Foundation has delivered hope and resources to youth experiencing poverty, homelessness and abuse. Our teams of volunteers and corporate partners are active participants within the community – providing education, mentorship, and opportunities youth in these situations might never receive.

Loukas has really enjoyed his time with The Bow and Arrow program. My kids have been coming to the Bow and Arrow program since April. They’ve loved every minute of it. My oldest son Matthew was given the opportunity to go to summer camp and I believe it has helped with his confidence and social skills. My youngest son Gabriel loves being the center of attention and although he is too young, they allowed him to participate. Annual Holiday Party for Children
December Each Year
The Holidays present an extraordinary opportunity to demonstrate the love and compassion we have for the families we serve. This past Christmas was no exception. Following is a message received by one of our program moms immediately following our annual Holiday Party end-of-year celebration.
"Nancy said that she had the best time at Santa's Workshop. Her kids were in heaven! She said she met the owner (Myan) and didn’t realize who he was. He was the kindest man. She said her girls felt comfortable with the mentors and felt as if they had known them for years. Her son was next in line with the snake when it pooped! It wasn’t a big deal. They were all so thankful and happy to have been there. They loved the food too! The guy that owns Theresa’s Pet Store was so down to earth, she said. They all had such a good time. Nancy said she was given a tons of leftovers. After the event, a bunch of kids came to her house. She was able to feed all of them."
We believe each one of our mentees "Arrows," if given a chance, will make you proud. These are the kids you want to stand and cheer for!
