TERRIANA

Terriana began her journey with us several years ago as her mom has been battling the terrible disease of cancer. Terriana and her sister have been to 10 FTN events, and they are always so happy to be with us. This family is near and dear to FTN.

SAMANTHA "SAMMY"

Sammy has been with FTN a long time as she not only attends the events, but she also volunteers to help prep for the events. Also, she has been working toward being a mechanic by learning the skills of the trade with our partner Team Up Racing.

LOUKAS

Loukas has been with FTN since the beginning and has been to 14 FTN events. It has been a blessing to watch him grow up, come out of his shell, and truly bond with his mentor, Eugene. His mom, with tears in her eyes, thanked FTN for giving Loukas a male mentor to look up to.

ARROW

The other 95+ children are part of our Bow & Arrow Mentorship Program. Each child has a unique strory and reason for being part of our program. By supporting FTN, you are supporting them.

Encourage children who are victims of their circumstances.

Children and their in our program are facing things they should never have to face... often not knowing where they might sleep the next night. Some have fled unbearable conditions such as domestic violence or abuse, leaving them no choice but to live in shelters or transitional housing units. Through no fault of their own, the children in our program have dealt with circumstances way beyond difficult.

Housing insecurity has the potential to deeply impact a child when they are in their most crucial stages of development. Homelessness leads to a variety of issues ranging all the way from trouble keeping up with homework to chronic stress to the misuse of substances to criminal activity and more. There's no "that's not my problem." Homelessness affects everyone.

No matter the difficult circumstances the children come from, it all gets left behind when they get to our events. Children are free to be themselves without judgment while developing good character. They will connect with mentors and opportunities they may never have known otherwise. And they will become part of our loving & inspiring community.

Our main program is the Bow & Arrow Mentorship Program, an events-based program for children and their families who are experiencing homelessness and poverty. Each event is centered around one of our main "targets" including Goal Setting, Relationship & Team Building, Physical & Body Wellness, Mental & Emotional Health, Problem Solving & Critical Thinking, Education & Investing in your future / finances, and more!

We believe that with these priceless life skills and our community of trusted mentors around them, the children in our program can grow up confident, hopeful, secure, and prepared to conquer the challenges they face and to reach their unique potential.

Thank you for giving and for empowering FTN to transform the lives of children and families who need it the most. We beileve in our Progams, and we believe in these families. Our founders not only volunteer at every FTN event and in the preparation leading up to the events, but they also fund 100% of the staff costs at FTN to make sure your donations go directly to the programs. We are doing our part to give FTN every chance to succeed. We thank you, the community, for stepping up with us.

Our Mission

Donations raised will all go directly back into For the Need, helping us reach our mission to provide a foundation for underprivileged youth to overcome life's difficult challenges, discover opportunity, and realize their own unique potential.
